Wow what a great year. I know it's a little early for a reflective post- but lets face it the run up to NYE will be way to drunken to post good.

I think it's fair to say that everyone who posts on GB has had a good year, for me the highlight of the year has been receiving praise from the dj's and producers who inspired us in the first place. I'm not going to list them (you should be able to guess anyway)- but I am going to say that both of us are very happy with the people we are going to be working with next year and the places our releases are going to be coming out.

I'm working on a best of 2008 but there is so much good stuff to reflect on that it's taking a while- In the mean time Jesse Rose kindly did a 08 best tracks for us:

4. No man needs to buy more than 3 pairs of sneakers in one trip regardless of how cheap they are - because he has to carry the fuckers home.

5. Being in a car with a drunk driver is fucking scary.

6. Penn station has a quality of homeless dudes that kings cross only dreams about having.

7. There are rats every where in NYC - some even ware suits.

8. The drugs are much better here.

9. People are actually very polite in New York- that myth that everyone is crazy rude is a lie.

Just came back from London playing the notorious Get Rude the club night of my very good friends Zombie Disco Squad. Before going to Ldn I did expect lots of fun at the night but I must say that everything went beyond my expectations and GR is now one of the best gigs I ever played. Today is Suicide Tuesday- what the hell is that I hear you ask- well if you are pure of heart and mind but sometimes enjoy the weekend a little bit too much (I was in Amsterdam need I say more) the first few days of the week can be a little raw- and generally in my experience Tuesday is the worst- hence Suicide Tuesday.


An Old wise man called Jack once told me that songs can last for more that 6 months- initially I mocked him saying that some things should defiantly last for less (we are your friends- amazing- then good- then ok- then pub- then suicide Tuesday). He how ever looked into the middle distance a slow smile forming on his lips and said two words- Blue Monday - I bowed down before him and said oh jack this is why your groove became the groove of all grooves-
