Is it just me or is dance music going through a bit of a 'non' phase.....

i dno. style of eye has come back with two MASSIVE releases, renaissance man are gettin the attention they deserve, riva starrs album is something to look forward to... and the deadfish releases are cool... x
its a good question. i think it is in many respects but then you have things like the rainbow frog symphony mix put out by sound pellegrino that reassure dance music too. it also depends on what dance music you're talking about. there are some kinds of dance music doing better than others lately. look at the sounds you yourselves are making though. and as already mentioned you have dudes like renaissance man and solo and gregor salto doing really inventive, artistic things with -house- music which is normally thought to be a stagnant form. i think that the more i write the more excited i become for what's been brewing for a while, a culmination that appears to have manifested in sound pellegrino...

Think the big question to ask and answer is: if the pop and disco heavyweights Italy and Sweden are taking over dance music?? sure seems like it with all that hit music slamming thru the speakers comin from those two lovely countries.

definitely a non phase going on, but i'm hearing some dope tunes. everyones getting creative cause they don't know what to make.
