Damn, this is my new shit! Me and Oakenfold be all over this one (btw: when did he start dressing in drag?). Take one teaspoon of 'jacking', mix in to a pot of 'detuned', simmer for twenty minutes on 'wonky' and finally serve on a bed of ' four-four'.

This is for all the haters...see you later.

All the way from 06´heres a proper house track to make the crowd move. This one slipped by my notice and just got it a few days ago. My first thought was damn, thats some nice new shit but then I found out that I had just been sleeping on this one. Thank you Mr Internet for being a friend I really love you. Some might say I love you a bit too much but fuck that I get soo many good things from you. Best of all you feet me with house music and all its great back catalogue stuff I would never have been able to find without you.

Alter Ego have released a new remix package and its pretty dope. This is my choice of the lot. Bristolians Deepgroove and Jamie Anderson make a lovely tech reinterpretation of the fantastic 'Queen Anne's Revenge'. It comes equipt with whippy hypnotic bleeps and the whooshy synths from the original. Go buy the EP here.

Nowadays its really rare that something that falls through my letter box excites me, promo shots are usually the same names, same remixers blah blah blah. So when I played this remix of hyped new band Foals, I was pleasantley surprised by it. Henrik Schwarz seems like a super talented and musical man, he has taken the original song and worked it into an orchestral wonder that lies on a nice happy plinky-plonky melody. Not something that I could really play out, but one to listen to whilst the sun struggles to come out from beneath the May clouds.

Shiit Im a parent now! Got a fucking cute little dog yesterday. Its a tiny little bug only to be 3 kilos big. Hell yes Im in love with that sweet thing. Yes I know I´m a DJ and never home on weekends but luckily my sweet girlfriend is just as crazy about it as myself.

Not very soothing for little dogs heres a quite slamming and druggie track that really gets me going.

Went Spinning in Berlin on Saturday at Picknick. It was the Copenhagen Label Tartelet´s 1st record release party presented by the Berlin Blog Berlin Battery. Party was of the hook and I continued until afternoon day after. Went over to Panorama after the gig to see Claude Von Stroke do his magic tricks. Didnt take my hands down all 3 or 4 hours of his set. Amongst so much cool shit he played one of my favorite tracks from very hyped producer Johnny D

Ed Banger brought out what was a fresh sound (all be it too hard for me in places) some time ago, and I must admit that since then I have often dismissed that sound as that noisy French stuff that gives me a headache (god maybe I'm getting old). HOWEVER- I have just heard their new compilation and I think it's quite good. I remembered what it was I liked about the label in the first place. Their Synth noises are really quite good!

Weirdly it is the Krazy Baldhead (who I had always slightly seen as poor mans Ed Banger) track that I enjoyed most.

Heckmann is baaad man, this track reminds me of Alter Ego in their earlier days. Jacking Techno at its finest. First Dance Dance Dance and then go buy his and Kauffelt's 'Klapperspecht' track on Beatport like I just did.

Went down to Berlin yesterday to do a DJ set at German radio Fritz.

Hello,

For those that have been keeping a close eye and ear on us recently, you may have noticed we penned a new genre in Zulu House. We did it first and we do it best. We thought you might be interested in the following mix which acts as a definition of ZULU. Its quite straightforward but for those still a little unsure...

Zulu is banging on drums. Zulu is congas and cowbells. Zulu is a relentless kick drum. Zulu is rhythm. Zulu is jacking til you sweat. Zulu is old and new. Zulu is Get Rude. Zulu is that low down wobble you sometimes feel. Zulu is a familiar feeling. Zulu is fresh. Zulu is bass. Zulu is bigger than you and its totally okay to feel a little intimidated right now.

I recently discovered this band called Aeroplane. I think they are from Belgium. They cite Pink Floyd, The Alan Parsons Project, The Who and Elton John as their idols and  have a passion for "cosmic disco and old-school house"....well, i think there's nothing more to say. Except, i love this remix.

I hate sunday nights

..Wish Copenhagen had a good place for Sunday clubbing. Of course theres the good old reggae club Rub A Dub Sundays at Stengade 30 but theres absolutely nowhere to go for some good house and tech and I´m so fucking sick of it.

Tonight I really feel this track especially the title.

Warehouse (Drop acid) - Franco Cinelli

'You'll never guess who I had in the back of my cab the other day?!'

Diplo dropped this in Manchester last Friday. Laidback Luke does it again, staying on just the right side of cheesy, he mixes a nice dancehall beat into his usual wierd toughness.....ZULU!

Juice String - Sex Weed (Laidback Luke)
